Summary: When people tell you to get that sand out your eyes, they usually leave out the part about it really being hardened mucus. Thankfully, our villain here is not in fact made of snot, but genuine magic sand.

History: The Sandman wasn't always a horrible serial killer. Abused at a young age, his mouth sown shut no less, he killed his father in a fit of rage, and became consumed by evil. More than a decade after he murdered his entire family, he was sentenced to death. But before he got the chair, a strange voodoo priest that had raised him since his breakdown granted his soul the ability to inhabit a body made entirely of sand. Soon, he's in a near-immortal form of grains, and now he's vowed to kill the last surviving member of his family, his brother, so that he may pass on to the next life.

Notable Kills: Drowns a woman in sand when she least expects it.

Final Fate: After the Sandman is allowed to kill his brother by the guy himself, he is blown up in a grain silo by said brother's vengeful girlfriend. However, the priest has other plans for the sand that remains...

Powers/Abilities: Immortality and manipulation of lots of sand.

Weakness: If he kills the person who ties him to this world, he will be rendered mortal.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-Cool motive, still murder. It's not hard to feel sorry for this guy, but that doesn't change the fact that he's a ruthless killer that can use sand to make your death a strange, brutal one. His emotionless demeanor only highlights his capacity for evil.

Trivia: -In European mythology, the Sandman is a benevolent figure who comes out at night, and makes sure all the children get a good night's sleep and pleasant dreams, mainly by showing them in magical sand.
